Darshan of Ramlalla:
Ayodhya ram mandir
ayodhya ram mandir picayodhya ram mandir
Summary
The darshan (sight) of Lord Ram at the temporary temple was closed from the morning of January 20. The trust made this decision with the purpose of giving the final touch to the preparations for the consecration ceremony. Meanwhile, on Sunday night, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath handed over the idol of Virajman Ramlalla to the priests for installation in the new temple. After the installation of the new idol, devotees will be able to easily have darshan of both idols in the Ram Temple from Tuesday onwards.
Expansion
The darshan will commence at 7 a.m., and visitors can have darshan until 11:30 a.m. in the first session. After that, in the second session, a time slot has been designated from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. If the crowd increases, the duration of darshan will be extended. During this period, ordinary devotees were unable to have darshan of Ramlalla on Monday. After the consecration ceremony, darshan was allowed only for special guests.
In the afternoon, offerings will be made every hour. In addition to offerings like puri-sabzi, rabdi-kheer, Ramlalla will receive offerings of milk, fruits, and pedas every hour. Ramlalla will be adorned in different colored clothes each day of the week – white on Monday, red on Tuesday, green on Wednesday, yellow on Thursday, cream on Friday, blue on Saturday, and pink on Sunday. On special occasions, Ramlalla will wear yellow clothes.
There will be a change in the schedule. Now, there will be Ashtayam Seva (worship eight times a day) for Ramlalla, along with six aratis. Passes will be issued for participation in the aratis. So far, there were two aratis for the idol of Virajman Ramlalla. Acharya Mithileshnandini Sharan, the trainer of Ramlalla’s priests, mentioned that now there will be Mangala, Shringar, Bhog, Utthapan, Sandhya, and Shayan aratis. It is possible that the Utthapan arati may be performed by the priests themselves, followed by opening the curtain for darshan. The trust will make an announcement regarding this.
